Kimberly Scott, Executive Director

Kimberly has worked with families and children for more than 20 years. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and currently practices as an individual and family therapist for both children and adults. She earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work from The University of Texas @ Arlington. Kimberly’s post graduate work focused on children, families, substance abuse and schizophrenia research.

Kimberly has worked in an array of settings to include private behavioral and mental health hospitals, federal prisons, hospice clinics and her own private practice for 14 years. She has experience assessing children and adults with issues ranging from substance abuse, neglect, physical abuse, trauma, depression, grief/loss, stress management, anxiety, ADHD, eating disorders, sexual abuse, pre-natal/post-partum issues, parenting and etc.  Kimberly is known to be empathetic, personable, non-judgmental and genuine in her interactions with clients. Kimberly empowers individuals to overcome personal obstacles by utilizing evidenced-based interventions while integrating spiritual concepts into therapy.

Kimberly enjoys working with a variety of clients encompassing both male and female of all ages. In her free time, she enjoys spending time growing in her faith, the outdoors, yoga, spending time with family/friends and traveling. Kimberly has three children two daughters ages 21 and 15 and a son 16 years of age.
